What is Community Scoreboard?
We created Community Scoreboard as a fun way to compete with your fellow members & stay motivated! You now earn points for every class you take on NEOU! The points for each class are equal to the duration of that class, so- if you complete a 30-minute class, you get 30 points! It's that easy!
We show only your unique display name and your optional photo on the leaderboard. You can accumulate points to make it onto our Scoreboard for the following time periods: Week, Month, Year & All-Time. Let the fun competition begin!
Why did you create Scoreboard?
At NEOU, health and fitness inspires us every day and we created this platform to motivate and foster wellness around the world. We started by recording hundreds of classes from the best in fitness, then we expanded by creating programs & challenges to motivate and guide our members to get the most out of both our product and their workouts. Now, we hope Community Scoreboard will serve as a connection for our 50k+ members from around the world to enjoy, connect and share their journeys, and also inspire a little healthy competition along the way!
What type of metrics are measured on the Scoreboard?
You can now see how you rank on the Scoreboard by both Points earned & Classes taken! You can toggle between Points and Classes on the top right of the Scoreboard and see how your metrics change.
I now see an option for All Members and Friends in the dropdown on my Scoreboard. What does that mean?
With the launch of our new FRIENDS feature in the app, you can now see how you rank amongst All Members OR just you and your Friends for a good friendly competition and a little inspiration! To add a Friend, please go to the Friends tab now under Community!
What does “Personal Best” mean?
When viewing your "Personal Best" score on the scoreboard for a given time period, it's showing your personal best for any given week, month or year. Your personal best is not a reflection of "this week" or "this month" but rather your best ever score during a week-long period, or a month-long period.
In your history page, you will see your scores for each individual class that you've taken- your score OR your Personal Best for each class. On a class level, you can only achieve a Personal Best if you've retaken the same class again and score HIGHER than your previous score.
How often is the Community Scoreboard updated?
Updates are immediate and automatic! You can see how you rank for This Week, This Month, This Year and All-Time by selecting the dropdown at the top.
EARNING POINTS WITH WEARABLES
Which wearable devices do you support?
NEOU has integrated with Fitbit and Apple Watch to allow us to display your heart rate & calories while you work out. Using your wearable device is optional and earns you BONUS points on the Scoreboard. Your wearable device will show your statistics on the screen, including your score which is calculated with a combination of heart rate over a period of time. Your wearable score is added to your default score for each class! For example, if you earned 30 points for completing a 30-minute class, and you earned 40 points on your wearable device, you get 70 points for that class!
Community Scoreboard is compatible with the following watches:
Fitbit Versa, Versa 2, Versa 3 and Sense
Apple Watch Series 3, 4, 5, 6 and SE
Support for more devices is coming!

How are the wearable points calculated?
The amount of points you earn when working out with your wearable device is based on calories burned and the time spent in the escalating heart rate zones. That means, the harder you’re working, the higher your score!
Please note: We do not store any health data coming from the apps so we are not able to revise, edit, change or update your score.
Can I use my wearable when I am working out on my TV or on the web?
Since connecting your wearable requires a connection to your iPhone or Android phone, you cannot use this while working out on our website.
If you cast from your phone to your TV using Chromecast or Airplay, yes, your TV workouts will be tracked towards your scoreboard. Unfortunately, there’s no integration at this time for Roku, Apple TV or FireTV with Apple Watch or Fitbit so workouts done on your TV apps will not count towards your Scoreboard.
