Considerations for level include the following: class duration, type of movements, pace, rest, instructor guidance and modifications.
Beginner Basics classes are a great place for true starters or those looking to get back into fitness. All of these classes are low-impact, integrate breaks for rest, include minimal to no equipment, and have a slow pace.
Beginner classes are usually 30 minutes or less with easy-to-follow instructions, basic movements, modifications and rest offered and are usually lower in intensity and include a slower pace.
Intermediate classes can be any duration, should include more difficult movements, a faster pace, and can include less rest and high intensity.
Advanced classes are generally longer classes with complex movements, less instruction and high intensity with little to no modifications or rest offered.
