Everything's better on the big screen, right?! In this article you'll find casting information for the most common ways to use NEOU on your TV.
We have native apps on Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, Android TV & XBox. When you download these apps, you can use them directly on your device, just like the app on your phone.
A note about Android TV: This is built into MANY major SMART TV brands including, but not limited to: SONY, JBL, Philips, Sharp, Epson, and many more!
If you don't have one of those devices, read on, my friends!
Chromecast
The next most common way to cast is via Chromecast. If you have a Chromecast device, click the casting icon on the top right of the video player and it should pick up your Chromecast in the room. You may have a Chromecast device, or some Smart TVs have Chromecast built in! TVs that have a Chromecast-built in unit include models from VIZIO, Sharp, Sony, Toshiba, Philips, Polaroid, Skyworth and Soniq. You can check for additional details on this website: https://www.google.com/chromecast/built-in/tv/
Once you’re ready, your phone and your TV must simply be on the same wifi network and boom, you're casting! Helpful tip, friends: make sure you change your phone's sleep settings, or just turn off sleep settings while casting. If your phone goes to sleep while working out, casting won't work and you'll experience some funky behavior, like the video starting over. To avoid this, we recommend turning off sleep settings while getting your sweat on!
Screen Mirroring
If you have a Samsung TV and a Samsung phone or tablet, you can use the screen mirroring function. Here’s more information on that: https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/tv-audio-video/what-is-screen-mirroring-and-how-do-i-use-it-with-my-samsung-tv-and-samsung-mobile-device/
An Alternative
If you none of the above seem to work for you, you can always bring neoufitness.com up on your laptop and plug your laptop into your TV via HDMI cable. This will allow for screen mirroring without a device or casting.
